COMPETITION TEAM LOCK-IN
We are excited to announce that the studio is having a competition team lock-in on September 16th-17th! Yes this means that your child will be spending the night at the studio giving you the night off! You’re Welcome! However, we are in the need for parents to spend the night with us at the studio. If you are willing to help out we have a sign-up sheet at the studio. We would greatly appreciate it!
The order of events are as followed:
The students should arrive at the studio around 5:30/6:00 PM on Friday September 16th. We will have a pizza dinner at the studio around this time. We will play games throughout the evening and will watch a few movies before heading to bed.
The next morning we will have breakfast at the studio before traveling to Tar Hollow Mountain Heritage Festival. Once we arrive at the festival we will have the kids participate in a few activities, while some of the parents help set-up a picnic lunch for the kids/adults. Then we will participate in more activities and team building exercises at the festival. We are in the need for parents to volunteer to transport kids to and from the festival! If you are willing to do this please sign-up at the studio or let Page or Robert know so they can write you down. We will also need some parents to provide the food for the event (breakfast, pizza, chips, lunch/picnic, snacks). If you are capable please let us know.
Things for the kids to bring:
An overnight bag
Toothbrush and toothpaste
Brush or comb
Deodorant (we will be going outside in the heat!)
Change of clothes for Saturday (we will be going outside)
Pillow and Blanket for sleeping bag
Warm sweater or sweatshirt (if you get cool at night)
Blow up mattress or sleeping cot (if you have one)
Appropriate games for the evening
